Round Table Challenge
A game for 2 or more players. Not for the faint-hearted.
You’ll Need:
A deck of playing cards
A few bottles of alcohol
A drinking glass (or two) for each contestant
An extra glass for the table
A jug of water
Instructions
Lay all the cards out, face down in a circle, with the bottles of grog and water in the middle of the table.
Going clockwise around the table, everybody takes turns at drawing a card out of the deck. Continue taking cards until the fourth king has been pulled or all the cards are gone. Each contestant must do something corresponding to the card they pulled as follows:
1-6 – If it’s a red card, you must have a drink. If it’s a black card, pour double that number of drinks and hand them out to whoever you want (ie. a black 4, pass out 8 drinks)
7 – Ladies drink
8 – Gentlemen drink
9 – Ryhme time: The host has to pick a word and start going around the circle ryhming with it. The first contestant to pause, repeat a word or say something that doesn’t rhyme must have a drink.
10 – Ahead: the person to your left must drink.
Jack – Back: the person to your right must drink.
Queen – Category: pick a topic that is likely to get funny, like beer brands or condom types, and start going around the circle. The same rules apply as for rhyming. The first to pause, repeat or not have a good answer must drink.
King – The first three people to pull kings may pour as much alcohol into the glass in the middle as he or she wants. The person who pulls the forth king must drink everything in the glass.
Ace – Waterfall: Like the Mexican Wave of drinking! Whoever pulls the Ace decides whether the waterfall will go up (left) or down (right). Everyone starts drinking at the same time, when the person who pulls the card stops, whichever way the waterfall is going you must stop drinking in that order .
Tip: As with all alcohol, and especially drinking games, it’s a good idea to have a glass of water in between drinks to minimise your morning headaches. Drink responsibly.
