I want to dress my son up super cute for his first halloween, but don’t know what to dress him as.
My favorites thus far are-
A penguin
A firefighter/policeman
a monkey
an old fashioned aviator.
What other cute options are there? What are some ideas for making costumes, or some links to cute ready made ones?
There are so many cute costumes for babies…and if you are creative, you can definitely make some yourself.
Personally, when you factor in all the time and takes to make a costume and add in the cost of supplies, I think it pays to either buy a ready made costume new OR check with your friends to see if you can borrow one.
I saw a really cute Penguin with a top hat…super-adorable
AND a really cute Lion and lots more at this link:

Its so hard to pick just one…they are all super cute!

So I’ll be hosting a dance/random party late February & I can’t think of any cool themes for it.
It’s for a bunch of teenagers, so nothing cheesy or "done before", thank you.
Help me?(:
eh?…go with a "Twilight" theme, most teens seem to adore it so it should be popular.

Everyone in my high school dresses up so well and creatively, and I’ve been trying hard to think of some costumes for this year. I mean, if you buy costumes for halloween, it’s not that fun. I want to have a blast while making a costume and going to school that day.
For example, one of my friends last year was a washing machine.
10 points to best answer! I appreciate all your consideration and thoughtfulness. Thanks.
I Pod (use cardboard box)
Outhouse (again, cardboard box – and a roll of tp on the side)
Spider (sweats with stuffed tights sewn onto the side)
Bag of jelly beans (clear kitchen size trash bag with holes for arms, legs, head and filled with balloons)
My personal favorites that we did for my daughter was – the night sky (dark blue/black dress or sweats with tons of glow in the dark stars glued on with hot glue) and Mrs. Noah we made an Ark out of a stroller and filled it with beanie babies. She pushed it and wore a simple dress.
Here are some links for ideas – some are for younger kids, but may inspire you . . .

im not sure waht i want to do yet. ive already thought of survivor, glamour, and music party and im considering them. any other good party themes for a 13 year old? 10 points to best answer
I have 3 daughters and sometimes it is hard thinking of a theme because everyone likes something diff. I have done hawaiian themes. Put up fake cardboard palm trees in the yard, leis and as an actvity i let them make grass skirts they had a ball. If your daughter is in to the makeup, big girl stuff. I would try picking maybe 3-4 friends (depending on budget). Have a sleepover at a hotel, order pizza, do nails, watch movies. I let my daughter do one at the Sheraton and i would have to say I had a great time.

I bought a costume for a party, then realized that it was to big on me. I cannot return it now, and all of the good costumes are taken in my size. What is a Halloween costume I can create using stuff around my house that is original/ creative, and not something that is very common?
the best and easy costumes are ….
zombie= just cutup and tare some clothes you dont need get some tomato juice or catchup with some redlipstick and put it in a few places for some cuts use some babypowder or some white blush or you can just buy some makeup dont cost much
vampire (lil cooler then zombie) good thing about being a vampire is you dont have to rip up your cloths just wear all in black cloths you can have or purple or red clothes mixed in with the black take some red makeup lipstick or even just a pen or marker put a dripping blood line driping from the corner of your mouth down to your chin and put to red bite marks on your neck again use some babypowder or some white makeup to make you look pail if your allready have a really white complection you dont need and if you want boy or girl you can paint your nails black but its not a must
werewolf= a little harder but it can be done take a little bit of pancake syrip rub it on your face just a little to make your face sticky and on the back of your hands then take something that has fur or hair like a old wig or a teddybear or you can get fur in a arts and crafts store and cut it and put some on your forehead cheaks and back of your hands. take some nail polish (optional but not a must) and paint your nails after wards take a old shirt and tear up the ends of the sleaves and some jeans and put some holes in it and poof your a werewolf.make sure you allso like the vampire take some lipstick or a washable marker and put some blood dripping from your mouth for a werewolf they bit so it should be instead of a line driping like a vamire it should be smooged around your mouth cause wwlfs bite and are sloppy
ghost or skeloton face (death)= just wear a black hoody then get a dark sheet or if ghost white sheet with white hoody cut the sheet to put your head through with the hoody on your head and paint your face white and if your death draw a skeloton face bye blackening around your eyelids a black triangle around your nose and put a tint of black or grey on your cheakbones.
HAPPY HOLLOWEEN ^_^

I am turning 14 and can’t decide on a birthday party theme. Please no spa party, murder mystery, or scavenger hunt in the mall. I am not girlie so no girlie themes.
How about a cosmic party… glow in the dark stuff. Could have a rock n roll party – really depends on what you like… but check out glow-in-the-dark T-shirts from imaginTEE, they have some ideas and great shirts for your party.

My son and daughter will be turning 6 and 5, respectivey, on the same day very soon. I would like to throw them a birthday party together. They’ll each get to invite 10 of of their friends. I have a huge terrace (approx 1000ftsq), which is where I like to hold these gatherings. I would also like for the theme to be action-packed so the kids are always busy having fun and not picking on each other. Any super ideas out there?
Try doing a carnival theme. Like you have a bunch of stands and each one has a different game or activity. You could even have one of the stands have drinks or something. Then the winners get small prizes like erasers, candy, and little toys.

I don’t want games like pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey, but I don’t want games that involve like blow jobs or something like that. I need something in the middle. Anyway, what are some adult Halloween games older teens could play? Or some scary, but GOOD, movies? I don’t want anything like the never ending saga of SAW or whatever, I want suspenseful movies and such. I just need some good ideas! Please help!
Adults don’t play games. We just drink cocktails and complain about work.
WHy don’t you TP a friend’s house?
