I turn eighteen in March, and I want to have a super classy party.
I am thinking cocktail themed dress-up, but I really don’t know how to go about doing that.
I don’t make a whole bunch of money, but I want to just have the best party ever.
Any ideas?

She’s turning the big 10 and I came up with a mystery party. She LOVED the idea.
So far I have this idea where we host a big scavenger hunt game. We split them into two teams and they would try and beat the other team finding the mystery prize.
Do you guys have any other ideas?

a game where everyone is a different character (ghost murderer detective ect) and have a set of questions they can be asked. the first person to figure out who everyone is wins!. (photocopy a list of characters.) its a great game to play inside and/or outside
Does anyone have any good ideas for a 16th birthday party? I have a medical condition which limits my physical activity (my sports are limited to swimming only right now). I’d like to keep things affordable. Any ideas? Thanks!
For me at that age (17 now) I just wanted to have fun and chat all night. So we didn’t really have anything planned, we were just gonna go with the flow, see what would happen. We put mattresses in the living room, hired some movies and we’d see what we’d do. The only thing that I really had planned was the food. I always like doing something special in that area, like, for example: to gourmet (I’m not sure if that’s the word in English (I’m Dutch)), which is where there’s a big heating plate on the table and everyone’s got it’s own little pan to cook. Chocolate Fondue is also real fun to do together, a big pan full with chocolate fondue (http://www.lhj.com/home/Chocolate-Fondue… and then all kinds of fruits, cookies and cake to dip in it. Or to bake pancakes together or for everyone to create it’s own pizza. Or to create your own desert with buckets of icecream, fruits, sauces, whipped cream etcetera etcetera. Although this may be a bit more cheezy and young then mature. (I still like it tho)
Also what always will be fun: bowling, miniature golf, swimming, giving each other beauty masks and makeovers and all the other cheesy, cliche girly stuff.
If you’re not having a sleepover, just a fancy dinner party is so much fun as well, especially when you all prepare it together! With the whole invitation thing and fancy dress code, even tho you might not be that fancy at all!
PS: at my party: we ended up watching all the movies rented, making a walk through the forest at 2AM, having huge english breakfast and having chocolate fondue and pizza for dinner.
My 15th birthday is coming up in April and I need some party ideas. I do not know how many people will be invited or attending.
It could possibly be a conjoined birthday party with another friend but I’m not sure. I don’t really want to spend too much money and I don’t know what my budget will be.

I bought some for her party, they came really quickly and turned out great!!! Everyone loved them and I plan on going back to this website for any other favors I need…I keep telling everyone about it!! In fact I just posted this on another question because I just think it is such a cool idea.
The boy is 8 and broke both arms, we are planning a kind of a party with his cousins ad friends, so we want to make a great party but with two broken arms is not too much to do, so we want to hear ideas.
He’s going to have surgery in his left wrist and we want to keep off his mind of the unability to do things and the concerning of the surgery.

games that may work for your party might be be balloon games, or you could get an electric bubble blowing machine and fill the room with bubbles. watch old movies on DVD, play music and dance or maybe dress up and karioke. depending on how much money is available you could also invite a clown, magician or other party entertanment.

Do a princess party! That way, she can dress up, wear makeup, jewelry, and play lots of games involving princess things

I am planning an office Christmas party. We only have $25.00 per person. The party must include an elegant location, food and cash bar is ok. We are located in Orlando, FL. Our party last year was paid for my the company. It was an awesome outdoor coffee shop with catered Italian food and a live DJ, dancing. The company will not pay this year. I need ideas to make 2007, almost as good as last year. Anyone have ideas to make this look expensive, but not be expensive?
A great idea is a White Elephant Gift Exchange (I think that’s what it’s called).Its when all the guest bring an item wrapped up that they no longer want anymore.Its usually a gift that they had laying around the house collecting dust and had no use for.It’s great a game that everyone can enjoy.Wikipedia site does a better job explaining the game.I’m sure everyone would love it.Good luck

At home or private party, get a game like "Dirty Minds" @ Spencer in the mall or Geustures. Those are so much fun and adults just go crazy. FUUUUNEEE
Have buffalo wings and make a Punch then spike it with half a bottle of Rum!
