I bought these for halloween and i wanna make sure they work?

29th September

I bought these fake vampire fangs for halloween from wal-mart for 5.00 and i dont know how to make them last. If anyone out there has used these how do you make them work, and how long have you been able to use them? I hate having to spend money every year on a pair of fangs that dont work and i dont have the money to buy a pair of expensive fangs. If you could help i’d really appreciate it.

There are several varieties, from the molded plastic upper and lower teeth that rest in your mouth (don’t work very well) to individual fangs that are custom fit over your own teeth. Of the latter are two different kinds of mold material, one powder and one thermoplastic that melts in hot water. Both are very good and, once molded to fit you, last forever.

I have a pair of fangs that I fit five years ago and they still fit today. very comfortable, very secure. Comfortable enough to drink and smoke (although they caution against eating and drinking as the teeth could come off and be swallowed).

What are some fun and unique party ideas?

29th September

I’m having a Sweet Sixteen party. We are driving downtown in a limo. Do you have any party ideas or themes?
Idea: black and white??
The theme is for what we wear. Like All my guest wear black and white while I wear red…something alone those lines…

A good way to spice up a party is to make it a "Theme party". A lot of popular theme parties are Hawaiian, 60’s, 70’s, or 80’s. A toga party is always a big hit, but you have to be careful if you’re going to bars of dress codes and stuff like that. We had a western themed party a couple of months ago and everyone dressed up with cowboy hats and cowboy boots. We played country all night and it was a blast.

Another thing you could do is a tropical theme. Play reggea music and dress caribbean style. If you would like ideas and planning tips for a theme party, please follow this link and they give you hundreds of tips and fun things to do!

What celebrity themed party games could be played for a group of 12 year olds and older?

27th September

I’m her cousin, and her party is for this Saturday. We would like something the 12 year olds can get, but something the adults would have fun with too. Please help!

The only one I can think of is coming soon (not totally sure when) but its called Celebrity Showdown or something from EA for the wii. All party games with some ‘celebrities’ (in theory).

But maybe theres some olson twins crap out there, and bound to be some Miley Cyrus stuff out already.

What are some good party themes for college?

27th September

After a few good bangers, my friends and I are looking to throw another party that goes beyond the typical themes. Thus, we’re looking to avoid:
-Golf Pros/ Tennis Hoes
-Blacklight
-Highlighter
-Celeb Party
-Anything but Clothes.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, I’d avoid the trashy parties.

When I was in school (back in the 80s) I was in a fraternity and we did the following parties.

1) Seven cities. Seven of the brothers would volunteer to host a city in their room. Each city had theme (for example Moscow) and a drink. For example the guy who did Moscow had "Riekman’s Red Death", and he dressed as a KGB agent and took everyone’s picture when they came into the room. Before you could enter the main party you and your date had to go to each of the rooms, have a drink, and get your passport stamped (we had little cards that were stamped or signed off on). For costumes you had to dress like someone from one of the cities (I was a Soviet border guard with a trenchcoat, furry hat, and toy AK-47).

2) Toga (Duh).

3) Mafia Wedding. This was expensive and involved, but we split the house up into two groups, each of which was a competting Mafia family. (One family was the Corleones, I don’t recall the other). The idea was the daughter from one family was marrying the son from another. We had a "bride" and "groom" and "priest" even. Everyone had cap pistols and did the whole Sopranos thing. I think we even did a buffet with this

4) Heaven and Hell. Costumes were "come dressed in the clothes you expect to die in". (there were some INTERESTING costumes). You came into the house and we had the two funniest guys in the house there, one dressed as St. Peter the other dressed as the Devil. They argued over if you should go to Heaven or Hell, and it was both brutial and funny. (For example My date got sent to Hell "for having horrible taste in Men"). The upstairs party was Heaven…we had a chilled fog machine, softer music, and a punchbowl fountian with alcholic punch. Almost nobody got sent to Heaven.
The basement had been done up as Hell. Red lightbulbs, loud rock music, lava rocks for decor, and black plastic on the walls. Most of the liquor was downstairs.

We also did a Ski Lodge party where we filled the ballroom with white styrofoam packing peanuts to a depth of about 3 or 4 inches, and put up evergreen branches for decor, and even built a small "ski lodge" in the room. The only problem was the styrofoam got ground up and static made it stick to people’s pants and shoes, so we were still finding bits of it all over the house a year later.

Bachelorette party ideas in the San Francisco area or driving distance of SF?

27th September

My sister is getting married in March. She has been dieing to go cruise to Mexico for a bachelorette party weekend. The problem is Im only 20, the cruise don’t allow people under 21 without a parent or someone over 25, we have no one over 25. Dose anyone have any ideas of where we can go or what we can do? Any weekend getaways suggestions?

I don’t know what you consider driving distance but Reno is only 4 hours from San Fran and Tahoe is even closer. That would be a really fun girls getaway! We did my sister’s bachelorette party in Tahoe and had an absolute blast! Good luck with your planning. =)
